Hi all,

I started Turbo Fire 3 days ago...has anyone out there tried it. Its great, very high impact but you feel like an athlete after each workout.

  • Im about 4 and a half weeks in right now. I love it! and I've lost 11 pounds.
  • Yep. I have used it for months. I think it's really fun, but it's too hard on the knees and I didn't get the results I was hoping for. Now I only use it as a fill in when I can't get to the gym for a workout.

Yes, I find its a little hard on the knees but I try to pivot on the balls of my feet. So far I've lost 3lbs in 3 days...I'm very happy with that. However, I must admit it is alot harder than I thought it would be...I did 5 weeks of P90x and thought I needed more of a cardio challenge. This work out kicks my butt.

Nicole - how have you managed to stay on track for 11 weeks? Are you following the diet plan?
  • Well Im 4 weeks into the program - but Ive been doing it for 5 weeks. I repeated the first week twice because I didnt feel ready to move up to the more intense workouts. I found that if I take my rest day on Saturday then I usually have shorter workouts on Friday and Sunday - which works better for me. ALso, if Im really short on time on a day where Im scheduled to do a 55 minute workout, Ill try to rerrange the week a little so I can still get all the workouts in just not in the same order.

I am not following the diet plan, and I dont use Shakeology or the Recovery formula. Before I found this website - I was just using cooking light cookbooks and watching sugar and carbs, but now Im just counting on MFP to track my food, and thats working out great!

I have bad knees due to sports injuries when I was younger. I really pivot and stomp my feet alot in this workout - its the only thing that saves my knees.
