I found this great radio station in my area. They are playing the best old school songs that I have heard in a long time. What is your Old School favorite?
For me anything that Motown, 70's & 80's
I just want to get up and dance when I hear them.

We have an old school station here that I love.
They recently started doing '90's at 9am for an hour. A lot of those songs take me way back to jr high. I am getting old!!0 -
My Top Five Old School Artist:
5. Milli Vanilli ( I blame it on the rain, and the bad tape, and the person who put the tape in the player and brought down their whole career)
4. Janet Jackson
3. New Kids on the Block (will always be the best boy band ever)
2. Michael Jackson(before his like 100th nose job and before he got all creepy wearing the catcher uniform)
1. GEORGE MICHAEL!!!!!!!!0 -

Beastie boys
Guns N roses when axel was there
Metallica
Bon Jovi

80s music, ANd let me tell you to say that is an open ended statement. the 1980s had such different music choices from start to finish.
Rock, (Hair Bands)
Pop, (NKOTB, not to mention teenie bopper music.)
New Motown, (Michael Jackson, Linol Richey)
Rock Women, (Pat Benitar for starters but there are a LOT more.)
Swing, (Stray Cats, Squirel Nut Zippers.)
80s Rock Fusion... (Umm PRINCE??)
Most of these where pretty good at danceable.
and to hear them now makes me feel young again, and then old at the same time.

Boy, you guys are making me feel really OLD!! I go back farther than Bon Jovi how bout Styx, Journey, Led Zepplin, Air Supply, or even further the Platters, Fats Domino. That was before my time but I love that old old music!!!! I guess those would be considered classics these days!!! Yep, I'm pretty ancient!!!!

I love all 80's music, from pop to heavy metal. I actually watch a special on Motley Crew the other night. I loved them!! I was a total banger in grade 7. I used to listen to wasp, twisted sister, quiet riot and scorpions (just to name a few).
Now 90's music has to be house music. I would name a few but I was drunk a lot in my 20's and I don't remember the names of the songs but I know how to sing them. lol :laugh:0 -
Van Halen - any song
Sammy Hagar - anything off Standing Hampton
Def Leppard - Hi n Dry album (they are so overplayed now though)
AC/DC (sorry but they did flat out rock, ecspecially the Bon Scott era)
The Who ( they were on the radio all the time in my HS drafting class)
ZZ Top - gimme all your lovin, legs, under pressure, tube snake boogie, la grange
ps Now that I am older I like the christian music - third day and audio adrenaline and FFH0
