feeling a bit down. now I understand why people vent on the forums. It's a safe place.
My ultimate goal is to be 145-150 (healthy weight for my height) before I turn 21. I'm turning 20 in September so I have a year and a half. But it just sucks because I want to be that weight before I go back to Cali (where I used to live) and show everyone my weight loss! But it's going to take forever.
How long did it take you to lose your weight?

*I'm 235.5 right now so I can relate to you...

I started at 242.5 lbs in June last year. Haven't reached my goal weight yet, but down 78 lbs, which I never thought I could do. Well, seems I proved myself wrong. LOL
It's a slow process, this is something you have to understand. But it's so worth it. Don't expect miracles. Just give it your best and you will see the results you wanna see. It's definitely achievable.

Hey... keep your chin up. I know how you feel in many ways. My first weigh in I was 245.5. It was a huge shock for me... but you just set your mind to it and go. The thing I keep telling myself is that this is going to take me a good year or even more. I get irritated with all those dumb gimicks that say "Lose 50 pounds in 6 weeks".
Trying to make the changes, ... for life....

    Here's to your future!
