Hi,
My Name is Kim and I am a Wife and working Mother of 1 human child, 2 pugs, a beagle/dachshund mix and 2 elderly cats. I love photography, cooking, eating, and reading. I have a tendency to be seditary vs. active.
New to the site, but already enjoying it. I'm in need of losing approximately 100 lbs. I am a diabetic struggling to keep my blood sugar under control. Working on decreasing my carbohydrates increasing my fiber. always on the look out for healthy recipes so I don't feel left out or deprived.
I'm not as concerned with calories as with carbohydrates, my doctor says I have to stay within 180 carbs per day. In researching diabetes and blood sugar I know I do better with complex carbohydrates. currently I'm staying around 1500 calories, and yesterday I finally got my bood sugar under 120.
