Today has been a good day:happy:

First I got up in the morning and had breakfast then i loged on MFP, sat here for a good hour:laugh:
Then I put my shoes on and jumped on my treadmill for 40 min at 3.0 mph with 1 pound weights in my hands, then I got on my stationarey bike and biked for 20 min, man I dont think I have ever been sweating so much in my life, and I felt so good after:drinker: Why for somthing that makes me feel so good is so hard to do??? I want to get it right this time even if it means screwing up now and then.

Every day I learn somthing new here on MFP:heart::heart:

Breakfast~ 1 glass cafe mocha slim-fast with 1 raw egg blended into it, 1 cup coffee.
Snack~ 1 banana
Lunch~ 2 beef fajitas wraps with laods of vegies, a side salad with 1 tablespoon italian dressing
Snack~ 1/2 a banana, 1 cup watermelon
Dinner~ 1 boul home made vegtable beef soup, 7 crackers
Now I have 182 cals left 1/2 a cup ice cream is 140 cal should I eat the ice cream or just lieve those calories uneaten???

Thank you all for reading my posts and for replying:flowerforyou:

If the dairy doesn't bother you then i say eat the ice cream, but only the 140 calories worth. I've learned that milk and dairy products mess me up royally and that I need to avoid them at all cost. But good job for Thursday. I'm down two pounds so I'm happy too. KIM

Its not the BEST thing for you.. Its alright I guess... it's one step away from coffee! And im with you for getting rid of all the stuff I love. Right now Im sitting in front of a vending machine full of chips and im hungry munching on a carrot here and there... I havent had junk food for a week, and those chips are looking mighty fine!! But we are better than that right

I am now taking is one DAY at a time... I last one day, then when the next comes I last through it, and then eventually its become a week!! Its much easier taking it ONE DAY at a time rather than one WEEK haha

Thats the way I'm starting to view this, I want to make one day at a time.
  • I'm very proud of you today Mary! Awesome exercise routine and food lists! :drinker:

As far as the Slim Fast is concerned, in my personal experience, it's not super effective for me but I've heard people who incorporate it in their meals like yours and have good results.

KEEP UP THE MAGIC! The food we love isn't going anywhere, God willing, but that doesn't mean we have to indulge and let our health go to waste!

Take it one day at a time. You're obviously capable of applying your logic to healthy resources and for that you should definitely count today as a victory.

No problem on having my support. We gotta tell each other how it is if it's for the better! Looking forward to the next post.

P.S.- Don't take offense but I did twice a victory dance for you when I didn't see any cinnamon rolls on the list. Those baked goods are tempting and delicious, but again, it'll be there to enjoy as a reward when you've done your end of the deal.

You did so great!!! I am doing happy dance too!!

Question - not a grumble or anything, what's with the raw egg??? I don't think I could handle that in my slim-fast. I have used it before and it was really handy for me after my first baby. Quick, easy. Just try to balance it - make sure it is filling enough. I would have it then a snack of fruit or something.

Anyway, everyone is different and you are doing great! Keep it up, if you want a challenge of no junk food I could go with you - no cookies, cakes, fries - nada for a week.. let me know!!

    Mary,

    GREAT JOB!!!!!

My opinion....if you like the slimfast and it keeps you away from the c-rolls, use it. You can weed that out later if you like - or not.

Again, wonderful job. What a huge difference from the first time you posted. :flowerforyou:

The egg is somthing my mom used to do, not with slimfast, she would mix 1 glass milk, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon sugar and a little vanila and we had a little milkshack, with some protein.

I cant even tast the egg:tongue:

Thats what I was thinking a slimfast shack has got to be better for me than the C-roll.

The funny thing is I thought my first post was'nt to bad:frown: but I see now it was,:noway:
all thanks to the tips and support from MFP members.
