bad back

I hurt my back going to work too soon after having a c-section a little over a year ogo (doctor said it was just a muscle though). To this day it still gets painful whenever I do anything physical. Does anyone know any kind of exercise I can do to try to make it better? I've been doing core exercises to try to strenghten my abs hoping it would take some of the load off. I also do the "personal training with Jackie" dvd, which is giving me a lot of results, but always hurts my back.

Yes, I have had a bad back since 2000. You should definitely continue to work your core. Also, you should try Pilates or Pilates-type exercises. Lastly, you should really do back strengthening exercises such as extension and lateral pulldowns. Just some ideas to add to what you are already doing.0
