I've heard that it is not good to wear them while exercising, but then again I've heard its great to wear them...

What are the pros and cons of wearing a sauna suit while exercising? And is it good or bad?? Anyone done any research on it?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It seems like all you're losing is water weight (ie, sweat) with these. So while they're great if you're a wrestler trying to drop weight right before a match, or trying to drop weight fast for a specific occassion (fitting into a wedding dress for your wedding or a bikini for spring break) they'd be great, but as soon as you drink a glass of water you'd be right back where you started.

  • I don't wear a Sauna Suit but I do wear http://www.walmart.com/ip/Gold-s-Gym-Waist-Trimmer-Belt/12167842. This really helps and I have seen noticeable improvement in my waist and stomach area. I do cardio quite often and make sure to wear it while doing cardio. It really has helped me and I have seen a difference.

A sauna suit just makes you sweat, it doesn't help you burn calories faster or anything like that. It's very easy to get dehydrated or overheated while working out. And, it means you have to drink extra water and replace more electrolytes because you sweat more than you should.
