Not sure I am eating enough...

I don't FEEL hungry really and I don't feel like I am starving myself by any means but I was listening to the fat2fitradio podcast and they were saying people shouldn't eat less than a certain amount of calories.

I wanted to lose 2 lbs a week, to boost my motivation and my daily caloric intake here is 1290...I walk about 5 miles a day so I burn extra calories form that and I eat accordingly more. I eat healthy (mostly veggies, but also chicken and some pasta/rice) and even treat myself ocasionally (a cookie once in a while).

But am I still not eating enough? I love losing the weight this fast (it's been about a week and I already went down 3 lbs) but I don't want to be unsafe or plateau because my body is starving or something.

Any help or advice? Am I going too fast?

    I would wait and see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Sometimes you will lose faster at the beginning of a program.
