Hi,
My name is Jillian and I just learned of my fitnesspal and I LOVE IT!!
I am a fitness instructor and enjoy food at the same time. I have been the same weight for a while and really am excited about losing this las 20 pounds. I am encouraged by all of your success stories. Thanks for the inspiration.
One question that I have always gottne a good debate about is whether you should be eating your calories burnt in workouts?
What do you all think?
Blessings

Welcome to a great site! I too joined a little over a month ago and am loving it. So far so good!!
As for eating calories, I try to stay around 1200, though I am allowed over 1300 daily without exercise. When I exercise I don't eat the calories intentionally. I will treat myself to something sinful (ie. icecream. cookies and milk,...) I exercise at night so it is easier for me to stay within the limits and not eat the calories as I go to bed within about 2 hours of exercising. Basically, no don't eat your exercise calories, but don't starve yourself. Just make sure you are eating enough each day.
Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like!!!!
Good luck to you!0 -
Hi there
Welcome!!
As for the eating excercise calories question, I sometimes do, sometimes dont. We need to burn more than we take in so to me its odd to eat it all back?? But im not fitness guru so what do I know? haha I do find myself more hungry when I do workout I just make sure it's a good healthy choice. :bigsmile:0
