Calorie Zig-Zagging

Ok so I know that there are already posts about this....however, I have specific questions about this. So I am suppose to be allowed 1480 calories a day on MFP currently. I see that someone said that they take their MFP allowance and multiply by 7 to get the total and then they just make sure that their zig zag comes out to that amount.
So my questions are this:
1) Are these NET calories (so do I have to eat my exercise calories back)
2) Should their be only a change of 200-300 calories a day between the calories (For example, the way I think I figure mine out is to be at 1405 one day and then 1626 every other day)
3) Another website (www.freedieting.com) said that Monday and Tuesday I should be at 1704 and then Wednesday 2045 Thursday and Friday 1704 Saturday 1875 and then Sunday back to 1704.....does this seem right...or should I make my own based on MFPs daily calorie intake?
For those of you who have had success with it...please let me know what has worked for you....and the weight loss you saw within the first few weeks.
I have reached a plateau after losing 40lbs and I nned to switch something up. Thank you all in advance for the advice. If you prefer to email your responses to this (if it is too long) that would be ok as well. :flowerforyou:
