  • I wanted to make low calorie brownies for my dad before he came home, but I was out of eggs, and decided to improvise. Here ismy brownie recipe.
    3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/4 cup 2% milk
    1/2 cup sugar
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 tsp baking powder
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 350 and grease pan.
In a large bowl combine applesauce, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Set aside.
In a small bowl whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Put flour mix into applesauce mix. Stir together until there are no lumps. The mix should be pretty thick. Put into pan and bake for 16-18 minutes. Let them cool.
    Cut into 12 peices.
