Ok, so hubby went shopping the other day and bought "Cool Ranch Dorito's" Which are my WEAKNESS! UGH! Between me and my boys we have ate half the bag in about 5 days. I don't sit there and eat alot at one sitting, but at least 6-10 chips. UGH, when this bag is Gone they are BANNED FROM MY HOUSE!!!!

LOL hope you are enjoying them!!

They are never allowed in this house. Not because of their nutritional value, but they smell SOOO BADDDD! LOL!

That's not bad. Sometimes you have to give in to your little cravings while they are still little. At least then they are negotiable by some good ol exercise.
  • I am enjoying them.. I have been doing very good lately, but have been down w/ a cold, so didn't make it to the gym today.. I'm going tomorrow afternoon for a while though. Like I said they are banned after the bag is gone.

you do better than me......I'd have eaten half the bag in one sitting by myself. That is the reason I also do not keep treats I can't resist in the house.
  • Just curious -- does hubby eat them too?
  • I did the same thing with dill pickle chips last weekend. Miraculously they managed to last 4 days but I do find them hard to resist. Hope you enjoyed them!

OOO! They are my fave too! My hubby buys the mini-bags for his lunches. It makes it easier for me cause if I walk buy an open bag I'm eat some! This way he just takes one bag at a time to work and I'm not nearly as tempeted!

Omg, I would've eaten at least half the bag. I love chips/Doritos so much. I can usually go about 2 weeks without having any, but then I break down and buy a bag and spread it out over the weekend. It's my main downfall, lol, but I try to slot it into my calorie allowance.
  • yes he eats them, but he knows the boys like them and me.. UGH!!! The bag is almost gone, so as soon as they are gone, will replace them w/ chips i don't like, but the boys and him do like..

Chips and salty stuff are my weakness. I am not into chocolate, icecream and stuff like that.. So this is where I lose it.. But I feel that I can control it, but instead of eating some grapes or something healthy while I make dinner, I snack on these darn things.. So, that's where it becomes a problem..

HAHA I would haved downed half the bag in one day and in 2 it would have been gone! I cant keep anything tempting like that in the house bc I give in way too easily! Kudos to you for only eating a few at a time and making them last as long as you did!

Sometimes if my hubby wants chips I buy BBQ flavor bc i hate them... good strategy. I used to buy salt n vinegar b/c i hated them - but it turned out i just thought i hated them...now i love them and they're on the NO NO list too.

    Haha, that made me lol!

I've been pretty good so far, but my downfall is that I'm such a damn good cook. What I need are more people around so that they can eat the food I cook instead of me lol.

I totally get what you mean! I've banned potato chips from my house because they are a trigger food for me to binge. They have to hide them in their room if they want them and not to eat them in front of me either. It's so hard trying to conquer this food addiction so I've tried to keep really good track of what food triggers me and then they are not allowed anymore. Food is my booze...lol

Sadly, booze is my booze.... and there's a bottle of Newcastle sitting in the fridge right now, whispering to me...

I'm the same way with Stacy's Simply Naked Pita Chips. Those are my snack weakness; if they're in the house, I can't help but eat them. And what's worse is I almost always shop at BJs, so if I get them, it's a BIG bag. They're even better with a thin slice of brie cheese on top!

Ditto. I don't buy them for that reason. There are treats I allow in my house...but the ones I know I have no weakness for are not allowed or I will binge on them.
