ugh yes! I have the same problem! I've lost 17 pounds and get mad because im still wearing the same size pants, they fit a little better, but I do notice that im a little more toned, so maybe we are toning up while losing weight at the same time? Just keep at it and be strong! It will come off, and your body WILL change if you keep up the good work:)0

if you're doing weights, your physical body size may increase, but its decreasing your body fat percentage.0

Some people lose weight in their face, legs and arms first. Don't give up. It will come. What are your measurements telling you? Have they changed any with this 12 lbs gone?0

I felt like that for awhile. Then I started taking my measurements and realized I was loosing inches so u might not see a diff yet but take ur measurements and then again in a week or 2 then I bet ull see that ur boby is changing!! Great job so far!!:happy:0

12 pounds is heaps! Nice work. Your clothes might have already been too small anyway. Do you measurements! I bet there is a massive difference in them.0

It really depends how much you have to lose - I lost 6 stone last time round and nobody noticed until I had lost at least 3 of that, and I didn't notice much of a change either, in clothes or much else .. but once someone noticed, everything fell into place and suddenly I was buying new wardrobes and everytyhing .. be ready, once it starts, it really starts :bigsmile:0

Vicky's right, I seem to be losing all of my weight in my face/neck, arms and legs. NOT my target area... oh well, just keep losing and it will eventually go away too.
I am down about 2 pants sizes though.

You could also be loosing a lot of water, which happens a lot when you start working out. Don't loose hope of seeing physical results soon. Water loss comes first and then the rest comes after that!! Keep an eye on it and do not weight yourself every day. Once a week, same day and same time.
Good luck!

Just give it some time as your body adjusts. You're showing a loss and that's something. Definitely measure. You might be surprised.
It would be nice if we could burn fat where we want but that isn't an option. I've heard two ideas on this. The most recent fat that was put on will come off first. Also genetics. I'm more inclined to go with this one but both probably apply in some way.
12 pounds in a month is amazing.0 -

I am right there with you!! I feel like I'm killing myself with the workouts for nothing!! I've lost a little over ten pounds since Jan 4th and was expecting more than that and definitely expected to see my clothes fitting different. The only difference I can tell is my pajama pants are not so tight across the back side.
Good luck on your continued journey!!0
