well my work told me they don't need me to work over the holidays (i clean at my uni) so i have four weeks off so i plan on going home to my parents for about two or (possibly, and hopefully) three weeks
uno problemo... they dont have the net

i'm thinking as kinda taking it as a break because from logging in food/exercise (but still keeping up the habit of course) because
a) i wont be able to log in anything b) i wont remember everything i had c) i'll totally forget about adding it to a diary (if i do decide to go that way) d) i wont be able to weigh in until i come back to brisbane

any advice? tips?

i know i could go into the library and do it, but it costs money (for the computer/net usage and my parents to drive me into town each day... i aint walking that road way too dangerous)

sorry if its rambling but i just finished work and its 2am

I think it might be a good experience to see how you've really changed your lifestyle -- eating and exercise-- and to see how you do, all on your own, without hardcore tracking.

Of course, the other option is to write down/print out all the info you need and take it home with you. Have a list of how many calories burned in X minutes of X exercise. You can read labels like a fiend and record calories by hand, keeping tally of your daily intake. I actually started out over a year ago by writing it all down by hand. (This site is MUCH more efficient!)

I hope you have a great visit back home!

Even though I log everything on here, I also write it down in a food diary. You should do that also for the next couple of weeks your gone. You can approximate calories & fix it when you get back home. It will still help you stay on track & have an estimate of how many calories you're eating.
