I have been blessed to weigh between 125 and 130 my whole adult life. Starting in 2007 my life fell apart with divorce, job loss, automobile accident and cancer. My weight ballooned up to 160 pounds. This is more than I weighed when I was pregnant. I am down to 152.5 and love myfitness pal. It has really helped me out. I am still struggling a little bit but looking at the calories before I put it in my mouth has really been a God send. If anyone has any neat ideas for higher amount of food with little calories ie. jalepenos, I would love to know about it. Good luck to all

Emotional eating for comfort was a big problem for me. I try to stick with whole foods they tend to fill you up more. We had Mahi Mahi for dinner the other night it's high protein and low fat and it really filled me up plus I topped it with some store bought peach mango salsa. Last night we had chicken with spaghetti squash, I added some seasonings to the squash, a little low fat mozzarella and a 1/4 cup of a store bought alfredo sauce. It was delicious and satisfying. Not sure if thats what you were looking for. I just need food that has some flavor to it. For dessert my sister has been having a 1/2 English muffin with a 1/2 tablespoon of Nutella and she loves it. Said it's like a cupcake or something. She even added a tiny bit of blackberry jelly to it once.0

You might want to consider checking out www.hungrygirl.com. Some of her tips are brilliant. I like to look up new recipes, and I also try just adding food to my daily log just to see what it comes up. I can always remove it. I like to drink hot broth, it is 5 calories for a cup and when I drink it I usually have 2 cups. I add a little hot sauce, pepper and cilantro and microwave it. For me its a nice snack.
If you have the myfitnesspal phone app, that thing is wonderful. It is neat to be able to scan an item with your phone and it adds to your food journal.0 -
Popcorn is super filling! You can make it yourself with an air popper ($15-$30) or buy the low sodium, low calorie microwave packs. If you use the air popper you have to have the will power to not add butter or salt )0
