Hello my name is Kami and I am new to fitness pal. I was recently diagnosed with insulin resistance and was placed on Glumetza and had to decrease my calorie intake to 1200 to 1500 calories per day. It hasn't been easy but it is not difficult either. I just know the changes that I am making will help me in the long run. My starting weight is 262 lbs (OMG!!!) and I am hoping to get to 240lbs in 6 weeks. If I stay focused then I am sure I will get there.
