I know that nuts are good for you in moderation and they're filled with lots of nutrition especially the good fats. However if eaten not in moderation you can gain weight....My question is if I eat 1/4 cup of nuts everyday as a snack is that too much nuts and will I gain weight? The reason I want to start this is because when I do eat the 1/4 cup throughout the day (not in one sitting) as a snack I tend to be less hungry by dinner time and I eat less.

I eat nuts almost every day. I have some in the morning on my fruit and yogurt and some in the evening on my salad or as a snack. Usually have walnuts but sometimes almonds or cashews. If you have the room for the fat and calories in you day they are great!0

almonds are a great snack, I buy the 100 calorie packs because you can totally go over board with them, lol0

no nuts are a great filling snack and will help u not overeat. Just as long as u fit them in ur caloric intake for the day they are fine0

I eat seeds and nuts too, just check the calories and fat at the end of the day to make sure it fits into your diary!!0

If you're counting them in your calories every day that shouldn't be a problem! I eat almonds quite often, and I seem to be losing, so as long as they don't put you way over on the calorie counts, go for it! I would probably recommend you portion out what you will eat and log it in the morning.. then snack away all day!0

My favorite snack is almonds. I count them out, 20 almonds equal approximately 120 calories a perfect in between meal snack.0
