Cutting sugar????

WHY WHY WHY is it that when I start to do good.....it takes one or two days of not going to the gym and all of the sudden I want icecream (light, skinny cow, whatever) and have a HARD time staying on track. I've been on this site for about a week now and I've noticed that I REALLY need to cut sugar from my diet.....it would probably make a world of difference for me!!!
I LOVE SWEETS and am told that once you cut them from your diet you will no longer even WANT them....Uhmmmm WHAT???? That really seems impossible to me! I really eat pretty well over all but there is always room for improvement!!!
This is one has become very apparent to me after tracking my food for the last week.
Any suggestions??????

    Just say no.

    It only takes about three days of no sugar and NO sugar substitutes either (!) and you feel so much better, and don't have cravings for carbs at all any more. It's really quite amazing.
