Need a support crew please

Hi all, I am new to this site/app, but not new to dieting by any means. I feel like I have tried them all, Atkins, bernstein, south beach, weight watchers, well you get the idea I think. Well I am giving up in a sense, I am sick of telling myself that I can not eat certain things because then that is all I want to eat! I am hoping that this app will help me because it will be with me in my pocket all the time to help me make the best choises that I can at the moment, but I also know that I can't do this alone. Problem being that I am a very antisocial being and have a very hard time connecting with others, that is why I gave up on ww I couldn't comfortably sit beside all the other people and still concentrate on why I was there. Also I have husband who thinks that supportive help is pointing out things like putting real sugar in my coffee instead of sweetener by stating "see this is why you never loose any weight... Blah blah oops I tuned you out"
Sorry for the stupid long rant, but seriously I need some friends so add me and talk to me, please forgive my horrible lack of social skills and when I don't respond right away just blame it on my antisocial nature ( if it makes you feel any better just think of it as a medical condition, my in real life friends are able to sleep at night that way) but know that I am reading your posts and thanking you for your words :-)

You are not rambling! I just started thisweel and am finding there is some really supportive people on here. A great community! I tried lots of diffeent things too, in effort to lose weight quickly. I finally clued in, I lost 60 pounds in 5 months before, I can do it again! I just ate things I loved, that were healthy. I wasn't too strict with dinner as there was more than myself for this meal. I walked 30-60 minutes and did some weights and situps and such, five days a week. Boom it happened. I just started again, a little more strict and a little more exercise, because I have more weight to lose this time. Feel free to add me as a friend You can do it, one day at a time!0

Hi - You can add me. I have tried bunches of diets too, but at least you don't have to pay to try this. And it works. I like that you can ask questions and people will answer you. No diet this time, just trying to change the amount I eat and do some exercise.0

That is how I am trying to look at this also, I can eat what I want, but now I see what it is "costing" me to eat it. Now I just need to find the time to exercise.0

my husband is the same way. And he expects me to lose weight without paying any money for anything. I started this site last week. and started working out this week. I start Zumba dance next week. I have never been one to diet, I just always try to eat less of what I enjoy eating.
On a lighter note you can do it. keeping a food journal has seemed to help me, I also quit drinking pop, which my husband said I couldn't do! I will add you as a friend as I don't have any either!0 -
