I VERY, VERY rarely eat meat. My diet is primarily vegetarian. People often ask me, "how do you get enough protein?" It's kind of funny because I'm ALWAYS over on protein in my food diary. How bad is it to be over on protein?

Its not necessarily bad to be over on your protein. Your body can only absorb so much at one time, so if anything, it's just not all being utilized by your body. What are your main sources of protein?0

MFP default is set at 15% protein, a balanced diet can consist of protein up to 30%, so even if you double the protein amount on MFP default setting you are fine.0

My protein usually comes from nuts, dairy, and things like veggie burger patties, ect.0

i break down my calorie intake to 55% carb, 30% protein, 15% fat. MFP has the protein set to 15% like eric mentioned, I find that low.0
