I'm curious as to what kind of sneakers you ladies are wearing for cardio/circuit training??
Right now I'm doing Jillian Michaels's 30 day shred and wearing Nike Free sneakers (the ones that hardly weigh anything). I love them, they are probalby the most comfortable sneaker I've ever worn. However, I feel like maybe I should look into a more supportive shoe as I'm really starting to feel pain in my shins. I'm also due for a new pair, so that could be the problem also.

I had a problem with shin splints before & it turns out it was because I have flat feet & they overpronate (turn inward) when I walk/exercise. You may need to switch to a shoe has more arch support, or get an insertable insole like Super Feet. Good luck!0
