Need a new scale? Me too!

I've been putting off getting a new scale for a while. I tried just changing the batteries, but after a week it started jumping all over the place again (I'm talking like a 5lb difference in a matter of a few minutes). So I would weigh myself like 10 times, and either take the number that came up most, or average it out...but today it was just ridiculous. I had almost a 11lb difference every other time I weighted myself.
I found these few websites with scale reviews, but I also wanted to get recommendations from other people on MFP. What kind of scale do you recommend, and where did you buy it?

Bump, I'd also like to know, as I am considering getting one that does body fat, but know that if you don't pay enough, you get a worthless measurement!0

I'm curious now too, I didn't even know they had scales that measured body fat0 -
Ya, my mom ( who does weight watchers) was telling me that basic scales are more accurate on weight...but I've had a cheapy basic scale before too and it was still iffy. lol
I'm just worried I'll spend $100 on a scale...and end up with the same issues. This last one cost me $40 (it did body fat % too), and it did work for like a year, so I guess that's not horrible, but I'd like to not buy one once a year. :frown:0 -
I bought one that measured body fat... it worked for about a month. Now im lucky to even get an accurate weight! Which is why I use 2 scales every morning, haha.0

Yeah a friend of mine bought me a $70 one for my birthday, worked for maybe a week, now can't even get it to turn on. I will be returning it. The one I have now isn't great either, have to move it around and get on it 10 times to get an accurate weight. Would like one that you can get on and off and it's the same each time.0

I just ordered this one, based on some recommendations in other threads asking about scales: http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Digital-Bathroom-Technology/dp/B001KXZ808/ref=pd_sbs_hpc_1
Believe it or not, this will be my first digital scale!0 -
I have a weight watchers scale that measures body fat, water content, bone mass, and weight.
Although I have become quite a bit more fit, the only number that ever changes is my weight.
It's kinda depressing, seeing that I've lost weight but still have an outrageous body fat percentage!0 -
I have one that measures hydration and body fat. But the body fat is wayyy off from the handheld device I used at my fitness boot camp. We are taking 12% off.0

I brought a scale from walmart, it's being working since 2009 lol. It just does weight though.0

The way these albums work is you order the album and then when it gets to you you just use the code on the back at orderMyGift.com and then choose what you want (in this case, the scale). Shipping is free and all you enter is an address.
I got a scale from them a year ago (not this one, they update the albums annually) and have never had a problem with it. But what I like best about it is the 6 month guarantee.0 -
My scale broke a few weeks ago....fancy digital one that measured body fat and stuff---I bought it in October! Anyway, I find life without a scale much more liberating...I'll let my clothes tell me my progress.0

My old one was inaccurate so I bought a new one and love it. It isn't fancy, just a basic digital scale. I bought it for $15 at BJ's Wholesale Club (like a Costco). It is called Living Home Electronic Glass Bathroom Scale. Here is a link:
