P90x/Power90 mom/dad question

I'm just finishing up the 30day Shred and looking to find another plan to keep me on track. I have really enjoyed the Shred and mostly I love that it is only 30 minutes that I can squeeze in before my day starts. I work full time, 8-5:30 and have 3 small children, so the only time I have is before everyone is awake.
My question is I'm considering P90x, however the 60minutes is going to be tough 6 days a week, are there any full time working moms or dads that have been successful making this work? I was looking at the other programs that Tony has and the Power 90 is only 35minutes, so I wondering if that is more doable.
Thanks

I work full-time and I don't have kids and it was still very time consuming!

actually 3xweek the workouts are 70 min with ab ripper x and one day is 90 minutes (yoga) So out of 6 days you have 2x55min 3x70min and 1x90. You can also look at insanity 45 min/workout

Insanity would be a good one-because you also don't have to buy any additional products-just the program & its shorter!!

Have you looked into TurboFire?? Its a great program, LOADS of cardio and it doesn't take too long at all!
If you have any ?s about Beachbody products, just let me know :)

If you're short on time then Power 90 would be a good option. It is shorter in length. My husband and I work fulltime and we have two kids. Our kids are in middle school though. We get up every morning and do P90X and Insanity before work. In the middle of our workout we wake the girls so that they can get ready for school. Then we go back to working out.

I just started the P90x. I work full time w/2 kids. It's a challenge to squeeze it in some days, but I try, even if it's before everyone wakes or after they go to bed. I'm sure there are some days I'm gonna miss, but I would hope one would still see results even if you take an extra day off here & there.

I don't have kids but I was working full time and school full time with my first round of P90X. I wont lie it was tough sometimes to get the workouts in, most were more 45 minutes some are an hr or so, but I also didnt mind a late night workout becauseits just me, no kids, and the were often vigorous enough that after i showered i was ou tlike a light. but if time is the only thing that factors it the power 90 is just as effective :)
I'm a beachbody coach and if you're looking for a beachbody coach, message me for more info :)

I get up at 0345 and do my workout which is the p90x. I have 2 kids that are 5 and 4. That is the only time i have to do my workout! I love it. It gives me a burst of energy all day long!! Good luck
  • I would say Insanity, TurboFire or 10 minute trainer would be better for you the workouts are shorter, but nothing beats the X for results.

Thanks so much for all your comments this whole work/ life balancing act is a challenge. Maybe at some point if I can work an alternate schedule P90x will be a better fit, but I think for now I may need to try another plan. Thanks again.
