It's not hard anymore!

I realized a few days ago, after about a month of dieting, that eating only 1300-1350 calories isn't hard anymore! I remember spending the first few weeks just staring at the kitchen, having to fight to keep myself out and within my goal. But recently, the only thing that's still giving me trouble has been my bad penchant for boredom snacking at night (I tend to stay up late, so there's a lot of time after dinner that I want to spend snacking).

I think the biggest breakthrough has been in finding lower-calorie ways to eat the meals I like (I couldn't believe how many fewer calories were in the low fat hot dogs than in the ones I used to buy!) and also low-calorie snacks to keep me eating throughout the day. I eat more often than I ever did before, but take in fewer calories and less fat!

This is really a NSV, but I want to post it here in the Food & Nutrition board instead of on the Success Stories thread because I don't want to be congratulated so much as I want to hear from everyone else! Have you reached a similar point where suddenly your kcal goals didn't feel so bad? What problems have you had, and/or what solutions have you found?
