Here's another pushup-helper to add, my boyfriend's trainer showed me how to do it, it seems complicated at first but it is more difficult than a knee-supported pushup but easier than a full one, it's s sort of halfway:
1. start in regular pushup position, legs extended behind you.
2. do the "down" move of a regular pushup, as slowly as you can.
3. when you are flat, face down on the floor, bend your knees behind you and push into the "up" position supported by your knees.
4. lift your knees back up, get on your toes in start position.
