I am 39 yrs old. I had a hysterectomy about a year ago, now all my belly fat hangs over my scar. People tell me I will always have this "pocket", even after I loose weight. Is this true? Please tell me it's not.

It's possible. The skin on your belly stretches and it's hard for it to shrink back. That's why so many women have tummy tucks after they have children.

I'm still dealing with my "mother's apron". My last pregnancy was 19 years ago. It's shrinking but I don't think it will ever be "normal" without surgery. You can make your belly look better with weights and ab exercises but it may never be perfect.

MIGHT BE THE CASE. I HAD A C SECTION WITH MY LAST CHILD. I WAS EXTREMELY FIT 10 YEARS AFTER HE WAS BORN AND STILL HAD THE BELLY. I ENDED UP HAVING A TUMMY TUCK. IF YOUR TUMMY ISN'T THAT BAD, YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET ALITTLE LIPO WHEN YOU MEET YOUR GOALS.

Boo Hoo. I was hoping someone had a magical answer for me. Thanks for all the feedback though.
