when is the best time to eat??

Before or after exercise??

I am a newbie when it comes to exercising....trying to get in any activity that I can!!

    Both actually. You should eat good carbs about an hour to two before you exercise - granola bar, applesauce, fruit smoothie, etc. You should then eat protein after to help feed your lean muscle and repair any damage - string cheese, peanut butter, nuts, etc. Good luck!! And be sure to stay well hydrated.
