30/30/30 - Stationary Bike

I realize that HIIT is not a new concept but I thought I'd share my version that I've had some success with. It's basically just 30 seconds of normal pace on the exercise bike, then 30 seconds of pedaling as fast as you can go, then back to a normal pace for 30 seconds. And do this off and on for 30 minutes. I did this quite a bit last year when I started my weight loss journey and lost weight slowly but steadily. Not sure why I quit but I'm starting up again and hopefully jump start my weight loss again.

    Just did a 30/30/30 yesterday and already lost 2 pounds! Ok there may be other contributing factors :wink: but it's motivating enough to get me going again!
