Shifting Calorie Goal

Does anyone change their calorie goal day to day depending on their baseline activity? For example, I'm on my feet most of the day when I work, but on my days off I spend most of the day sitting (lazy, I know:tongue: ). So should I set my activity as sedentary on my days off and as light active on my work days?

I was... I don't know if it made a significant change to my weight though. But for an active day I would be on 1410 cals and on a day off i'd be on 1200. I find that if I am being active, I really need those extra calories to keep my energy levels up. I get really faint really quickly without them!

(Just as an aside, I hate that the diary doesn't remember that you changed your calorie goal, so when you look back at your weekly diary it can look really messed up, but that's just me!)

    Thanks Elle.

That is annoying that it doesn't remember past goals. I do keep a spread sheet and a graph of goals and nets though. I also find that I get run down quicker on my active days. I figure, even on my active days, I'm still not getting too so many calories that I would gain weight either.

I set mine to active, but on the weekends just try to stay a bit under what my target is.
Even if I *do* eat active calories on my days off, it's still not sedentary maintenence calories, so still a deficit. Just depends how hungry I am. You need some leniency as nothing can be exact.
