I alternate between two playlists--one is mostly rock and the other is fast latin (ie. mambos/sambas). I find that having two distinct playlists helps me avoid getting bored with one and I work out better.

I've seen http://jogtunes.com/ recommended several times. One of the benefits is that you can select music based on the tempo/speed you'd like to run!

No prob just don't go overboard with rocky stuff, like eye of the tiger! i have it, but I often skip it cause it just reminds me of so many ridiculous parodies haha! stick to the more obscure ones like these 2. =)

I agree with Sara.. I have several play list.. because I will get too bored.. but it is nice that I kinda know how far I have run (or have left to go) by the number of songs once I have the play list memorized.. but here are a few I have playing in my ears

    We will Rock you/Queen
    Just Fine/Mary J. Blige
    Raise your Glass/Pink
    Let It Ride/Bachman Turner Overdrive
Run Thru the Jungle/Creedence Clearwater Revival
    Glamorous/Fergie
    Hey Oh/Red Hot Chili Peppers
I Like the Way You Move/OutKast
    Low by Flo-Rida
    Krunk (Family Affair)/Mary J. Blige

then some warm up/cool down tunes (mostly from my generation)

    Crystal Blue Persuasion/?
    Warm Love/Van Morrison
    Night Moves/Bob Segar
    Dancing in the Moonlight/Van Morrison

Some of the tunes that get me moving are:
    Drowning Pool -Bodies
    Miss Lawrence-Closet Freak
    PitBull-I Know you Want Me
    TuPac-Loyal to the Game
    Keri Hilson-Get Your Money Up
Guns & Roses-Sweet Child of Mine
    TI-Live your Life
    Little Big Town-Little White Church
    Sugarland-Stuck Like Glue
However, it appears that Rihanna is what really gets me going:
    Disturbia
    Hard
    Only Girl in the World
    Pon De Replay
