I'm new here, obviously!! Last time I weighed myself (about a month ago) I was 180, the heaviest I've ever been I wouldn't consider myself over weight, but I am getting close and my diet is HORRIBLE. I guess I'll give some background about myself
I'm 22 years old and married to my best friend. We got married in August of 2010. In June of 2010 I found out I was pregnant. Unfortunately a week before the wedding I miscarried. I had began eating meat again (I had been a vegetarian for 5 years) to make sure I got enough protein. That coupled with the crazy cravings I was getting made me gain about 15 pounds. After the miscarriage, I went into a depression and ate my feelings away, causing me to gain another 15-20. So at this point, I am ready to get my life back together.
I know I eat my feelings. I always have, I've just typically been able to control it. I lost control, and now I'm working to correct it! I started smoking again, so I'm quitting as well. Unfortunately that isn't as easy to do "cold turkey" like eating habits are for me! I don't have set goals fitness wise, but my husband is trying to get fit enough to take the police exam again in February 2012. So...I guess one goal is to possibly try to "pass" the female police exam? I don't want to be a cop, but it would be cool just to know that I could pass if I felt like it!!
I did WW a few years ago and lost about 30 pounds, which got me to 155. I could not for the life of me get out of the 150s!!! My body looks best around that weight, but I think I'd like to hit 149, just to prove to myself that I can beat a plateau!! And to be honest, the number isn't as important as being comfortable with myself is!
Well, I hate to ramble so I'll stop, but I look forward to being an active member in this community!!!
