Look out, Noxzema. There's a new line of CHOCOLATE products that could challenge your position as the best pimple annihilator. Good circulation is KEY to maintaining clear skin, and the brilliant minds over at CocoaVia have come out with an entire line of chocolate products rich in cocoa flavanols, which are said to support healthy blood circulation. We LOVE the line's Artificially Sweetened Milk Chocolate Flavored Cocoa Flavanol Beverage Mix (1 packet = 20 calories, 0g fat, 1g fiber -- POINTS® value 0*), especially stirred into our Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Breeze. CocoaVia Circulation recently introduced shakes, chews, bars, and even coffee creamers. For more info on t hose skin-saving chocolatey creations, click here!

RESIST WRINKLES

Nutrient-dense fruits and veggies -- such as apples, leafy greens, and prunes -- are excellent at fighting wrinkles. An international study found that those who ate produce with high levels of antioxidants (like vitamins A, C and E) had smoother, younger-looking skin. Reach for Sunsweet Ones, individually wrapped prunes so sweet they taste like candy (well, pruney candy). Four of 'em have only about 100 fat-free calories plus 3g fiber (POINTS® value 1*). BTW, we do find it slightly ironic that a wrinkly fruit like the prune can keep skin smooth... but, whatever! And of course, we can never get enough reasons to eat Fuji apples (we LOVE 'em!).

PREVENT SUNBURN

Wanna protect your skin before the summer sun even hits it? Reach for almonds, papaya, spinach or blueberries. These foods contain lots of skin-friendly vitamin E. "E" (the vitamin, not the TV network) can stop skin cells from becoming sunburn cells (aka SBCs). Our latest favorite almonds are Blue Diamond's no-oil-added Natural Oven Roasted Almonds in Cinnamon Brown Sugar (1 oz., about 24 nuts = 160 calories, 14g fat, 3g fiber -- POINTS® value 4*). Try whipping up a spinach salad topped with blueberries, papaya chunks and a few of those almonds, and you'll have yourself a tasty meal and a jumpstart on sun protection! Just don't be silly and think these foods are a substitute for sunscreen... they're not.

ERASE DARK UNDER-EYE CIRCLES

Iron = a great way to attack dark under-eye circles. Those bags under your eyes could be a sign of iron-deficiency. Iron enhances oxygen distribution throughout your body. So fight those annoying dark circles by chowing down on soy, spinach, and kidney beans. One of our favorite sources of soy is Crum Creek's Brilliantly Blended Soy Nut Mix (1 pack = 131 calories, 8g fat, 5g fiber -- POINTS® value 2*). Yum!

GO FOR THE GLOW

Want gorgeous, glowy skin ASAP? To get fresh-looking, dewy, revitalized and healthy skin, guzzle lots of H2O. It may sound cliché, but it's definitely true. Water flushes out toxins and keeps you hydrated, so it really does keep skin looking rosy and supple. If plain agua is too boring for you, keep a pitcher in the fridge with water and slices of lemon, lime and orange. Homemade flavored water (plus healthy skin!) at your fingertips. Or stash packets of True Lemon, True Lime, and True Orange in your purse to citrus-ify water on the go!
