Painful shins

hey guys, i've been doing the 30 day shred, i'm on day 19 now and just started level 3 today, but i've noticed an increase in shin pain particularly in jumping jacks. Are there any tips or exercises i can do to relieve the pain, because I feel like i'm not getting the max out of my workout and i've got a friends birthday party coming up in 2 weeks and want to look my best. any help would be appreciated :)

    I am on day 17 myself and have shin splint pain also. Whta has really helped me is writing the alphabet with my feet (keeping legs still moving the ankle only). I try to do it twice after ever workout and the pain is much better
