I have heard from trainers, and fitness orientated people that exercise is no pain no gain. I am not going to lie, I got fat with that theory. We all did. We did not get fat by just eating too much we got fat by eating so much our stomach's hurt. Our bodies ached. Most of us over 300 pounds could tell a fit person what working out is really about. Try carrying 180-250 pounds with you every where you go, brings a whole new meaning to bench pressing.

I have been in pain for 20 years, my goal here is to get out of pain. So every time my trainer says no pain no gain, I want to punch the boy out. Do not get me wrong you have to work for this, but how bout train don't strain......

The deal is unless you are enjoying yourself you are not going to keep it up...Training and working out is a trend, not a staple, and it should be a staple. So what have I learnt, enjoy enjoy enjoy.

3 day workouts.... Trainer one day a week, a dance or exercise class one day, maybe even a dance class, then if you like water a aquafit or deep water running for a class a week.... Constant change means we are enjoying and will keep going.

Here is my scedual:

2 days personal trainer....1 day aquafit and one day swim lane lessons.....then I am thinking of zumba wii and a walking group....

remember even cleaning your house from top to bottom will burn some calories......Clean house flatter tummy....WOOOOHOOOOO

So my thoughts screw the no pain no gain, I am about proving them wrong.....enjoy the life your in and you will stick to what you are doing......Train, don't strain.....

hugs all

I am one that believes you must enjoy what you do also. I have the zumba for WII and LOVE IT! It is an intense kick butt workout but it is a ton of fun.
