this one is called calorie deficits. It's probably a bit remedial for many people on MFP simply because so many posts on here already cover calorie deficits, and I do my blog for the general public, but give it a peruse if you like. Heck, even follow it if you want.

    Great blog post. It was timely for me. It's stuff I know but needed to hear again, and I need to hear it right now. Thanks!

    I should be at maintenance now, but I got greedy and added too many calories back too quickly. That was only my second mistake. My first was to try to lose more than I really needed to. When I decided that was unnecessary and that I really am happy where I am and don't have to "lose just 5 more," I went a little nuts with the eating, and I've put a few back on that I don't want. I'm necessarily worried about the number on the scale, but I do care about how the jeans feel, and they're just a little too snug.

    Patience is a virtue. I've never claimed to be virtuous. :tongue:
