Whats the verdict on going over sugar intake. A majority of my going over on sugars on a daily basis comes from fruits & whole grainy stuff. Is this okay?!

GREAT question! I never go over anything other than sugar and vitamin C. I wondered if that was okay too. I lie...I went over in sodium today too. :( (had to go back and check). LOL

I mostly only care if I am eating healthful foods and am under my total calories. I have more fruit on some days, which makes my carbs too high and peanut butter and/or olive oil on another, which makes my fat go too high, but I never go over my calories and everything seems to be working fine.

Don't worry too much about the natural sugars in fruit, etc. Be more concerned with candy/ice cream, etc. sugars. I know I was shocked when I started keeping track of sugar, and was over after having a banana and an apple!

I mainly worry about calories. I've had success just staying in my calorie goal regardless of how much I go over sugar, carbs, sodium, etc.
