A new day!!

:flowerforyou: Happy short week to those of you celebrating Independence Day this Friday :flowerforyou:

The hubby and I had a splurge of a week last week....and this weekend. But! We finally got to the gym Sunday morning, washed his Jeep at my mom's, cleaned, did laundry, and I cooked Pork Tenderloin Fajitas. yum!!!

This morning, we bounced (slowly due to tired muscles :laugh: ) out of bed at 5am and hit the gym. Did 15 minutes on the elliptical (after 20 minutes Sunday, my legs did not wanna work!!) then spent 20-25 minutes working our legs. The best part? The gym is right next to Starbucks. Got me through knowing I could get my grande coffee with nonfat milk and three splendas!

The little kitty was a bit bent out of shape this morning, he is going on a bit of a diet and isn't happy about it at all. And then for us to get up and leave with out the usual lovin's??? Goodness, he was mad!
He decided to demonstrate this by carrying off my glasses and leaving them in the hall and attacking my camera. And glaring at me. :laugh: :laugh: Poor munchkin.

If I do this right today, I won't have time to kick back with a cocktail, therefore killing the 'need' for it. :wink: Here's hoping! I'm feeling amazing having workedout this morning and getting to work without too much trouble (except for the bird that decided to commit suicide on my bumper this morning :indifferent: )
