Prune juice as a pre workout drink?

I need some form of carbs for my morning workouts, and I've been having constipation issues, so I thought the prune juice might help both situations. Thoughts?

Be careful with this one! I know that personally, really hard cardio tends to get things "moving" in my body, just on its own lol. Adding prune juice might make it dangerously uncontrollable!
Wear dark pants, and try this slowly if you do. Otherwise, try increasing fibre, or taking the juice after workouts.0 -
I am on week 5 of Turbo Fire, so the hard workouts haven't increased my "movements" yet... I work out at home, so I'll be near the toilet.
But yeah - maybe I shouldn't use it daily, but more like 3 mornings a week?

Hehe, well if you're at home, go for it! I workout at the gym though, and I recall a not-so-nice incident last week where it was super early, and I had not much else but coffee before a long workout.... and it was a disaster. The bathrooms at my gym are on a separate floor. Not pleasant, LOL! I know that running super hard makes me "go", but things like 30-day shred & aerobics classes don't. It's strange! Let me know how it works out! :bigsmile:0
