A day in the life....

Just wondering what the day in the life of any of you is ....How do you make it work for your fitness & weight loss goal
Mine is as follows....
Morning: Get off work(I work overnight) go home do some chores around the house & have a light breakfast....cereal or shake (I don't like to eat too much if I'm going to bed soon)....then shower & go to bed.

Noon: Sleep until it's time to go pick up my kid from school, sometimes I ride jog ,walk or ride my bike, after I come home, I check or help her with her homework(she's only 9), gather things together to make dinner, then it's time to get some workout for the day on the elliptical, if I didn't already exercise, or if I just have the extra time.....

Evening: Make dinner, & eat with the family, clean up, do some house chores....spend then relax for a while with the family ....shower...

Early Night: Take a short nap....then get ready for work

Night: Work

It usually varies from time to time sometimes I workout in the morning....but change specially on my days of because I like to unwind like everyone else

    Here's my typical week day (weekend is always different)... wake up somewhere between 3:45 and 5:30, depending on what workout I have planned for the day. Go do my run/lifting then come home and shower. I grab a pre-made protein smoothie (my own concoction) and convince the boyfriend to wake up and make coffee before he takes me to the train to head to work. I drink the smoothie at work (takes about two hours... sooo thick), eat lunch at noon and then snack until I leave the office at 5. Then i walk back to the train station (about two miles), get home, eat dinner at about 7, make my lunch for the next day, relax a bit, then get in bed super early (usually by 9:30) so I can get up and do it again. Oh the things I do in the name of health...

    0530 - Alarm goes off, get up, get dressed
    0600 - Take the dogs for a walk
    0630 - Coffee, breakfast
    0730 - 4 - Work (snack around 9, lunch at 11, snack around 3)
    5 - Workout
    6 - Shop for dinner, make the meal with leftovers for lunch
    8 - Unwind with Honey, usually sitting around on the couch, have a snack
    10 - Bed

    Sometimes, I try to get a workout in the morning (that's my preference), but I usually don't have time.
  • I wake up at 7:30 with the girls usually with my three year old coming in and stick a doll in my face or to my 9month old yelling at me and waving from her crib.

    Then 9:00 breakfast catch-up on MPF and Facebook.

    10:00 put Olivia down for a nap clean up the living of toys just enough to have room to work out in, usher my 3 yr old into her room to play.

    12:00 Girls wake up play play play and mommy cleans house

    1:00-2:00 both girls go down for naps and mommy either crashes too or i recatch up on some MPF not so much facebook seeing as my heart is completly set on losing this weight, in an ocd sort of way.

    4:00 girls get up and we do an activity like color or when we did hand turkeys for thanksgiving or makeing card to send out to people.

    5:30-6:00 Husband gets home mommy make dinner usually something healthy the whole family complains about.

    6:30-8:30 girls play mommy trys to talk to daddy and/or play the xbox with him and put kids to bed.

    I eat at 9:00(breakfast) 11:00-12:00 (1st snack) 2:00 (lunch) 4:00 2nd (snack) 5:30-6:00 dinner

    Wake up : 10:30 - 11am
    11am- eat breakfast...or brunch? check emails , do some internet socializing
    11:30am -1pm - watch some tv, get ready for work
    1:30 - clock in at work. work til 4
    4-4:15 first break. usually have a snack / small meal
    4:15- 6 - work
    6pm-7pm- "dinner" at work. eat another meal
    7pm-10:30- work
    10:45 - gym
    12am- go home, take a shower, eat a light meal, hop on the internet..
    2am or 3am - go to bed.

    something like that. it may vary by a few mins here or there lol

    8:30 wake up, shower
    9am get kids up, dressed, and breakfast
    11am-workout
    noon-lunch
    1pm-kids nap and i workout or take a nap depending on the day
    3pm-snack
    6pm-dinner
    8pm-put kids to bed

    between those times i am usually chasing kids, playing with them, or cleaning up after them.

    Days I work:

    430-wake up
    5:15-leave for work
    7am-to 730 pm work (on my feet all day running)
    9 pm get home, read to and tuck in kids, pack lunch, get stuff ready for the next day
    930-10 work out
    1030 exhausted hit the bed

    Days I am off
    630 up
    7 to 730 get kids off to buses
    grocery shop, cook, clean (even though hubby is a sahd and does amazingly)
    2-3 workout
    4 cook dinner and help with homework
    5 eat dinner
    6 generally work out some more
    7 bath time for 6 kids, get them ready for school the next day
    830 kids to bed
