Hi MFPals,
I'm thinking about getting power 90 (not p90x). Have any of you used it? What kind of results did you see? What's the daily time commitment in order to see these results?

Thanks,
Ryan

It is a great workout. You won't spend no more than an hour on either phase (1&2 or 3&4). If I remember correctly, the longest workout it Phase 3 cardio plus abs and it is about 55 minutes.

DAY 83 of Power90 for me...

You need to get on good mealplan.

I achieved 20 lbs lost on DAY 79.

My results came in different each 30 days that passed by. As of Feb 1st - I started doin' double workouts...One in the am, and another one in the afternoon.

Just depends on what you want to achieve. I'm startin' P90X Lean on Monday March 7th.

There's a bunch of us using it over in this thread:

It's a good program which starts out at a level that virtually anyone can do (though it's not easy by any means) and eventually works up to a higher level.

In the fist phase, the workouts are only a little over 30 minutes long, 6 days per week. When you move to the 2nd phase (sometime during the 90 day program, whenever you're ready) it bumps up to about 40 minutes one day, 50 minutes the next. Still 6 days per week.

Day 15. Love it! No moer than 40 mins a day for 1-2. So far I have lost 8 lbs, including watching my diet for the week before I started P90. I did it first thing in the AM and then it's done and I don't have to think about it again until the next morning.

Do you need any specific equipment for Power 90?

Just some dumbells or resistance bands. And a chair for dips. I used 5 lb dumbells at first, now I am on 8 lb. I got a resistance band with my DVDs, but I didn't really care for it that much.
