Hello all....

I started MFP about 2 months ago and I was doing great. I had lost a total of 10 pounds in my first month; however, at the end of May we went on Vacation. I totally lost all of my motivation. I just got back from another vacation with my hubby and next week we have one more vacation with his family for four days. These vacations are killing my motivation. I gained all of my 10 pounds back and a few more!! I was looking so good and now I have to do the pants dance again!!

I am back on track now and finally my husband is joining me!!

Please help me stay motivated to keep with the plan!! NO MORE DR. PEPPERS!!!

Do any of you have any tips on staying motivated while on vacation??

HELP!!

when i eat in restaurants, i only have main course, no starter, no dessert, well maybe a little piece of my husbands dessert, but just one bite! lol

i dont drink soda, just water, ice cold is great, or i like strawberry tea, its just like hot flavoured water!

i try to go on walks when on holiday to see places that i have never seen before . . .

good luck, and believe in yourself! :flowerforyou:
  • the only thing that saved me from sabotaging my Texas vacation last September was the gym and pool provided by my Courtyard. I was able to pace myself with food and have great workouts by the end of the night. It also made me appreciate the concept of how much exercise swimming really is.

Avoid your temptations like the plague. Enjoy your vacation, obviously, but don't use it as a license to completely lose focus on the task at hand.
