I'm enjoying this!

Hi All
I just put some eggs on to boil for my lunch tomorrow. I'll be disgarding the yolk and adding the whites to a salad of leaves and tomatoes.
I'll make a smoothie in the morning out of frozen fruit, yoghurt and orange juice and I'll go to the gym from work.
If you'd have asked me a couple of months ago how I liked preparing, buying or thinking about food, I'd have told you I loved it as long as it was big in portion, salty to taste or sweet and how I would sit here in the evening's snacking.
I'm actually enjoying this way better!
I've walked to the supermarket to get the veg and fruit for tomorrow.
I've packed my kit bag and looking forward to breakfast!!!
At this rate there is no way I'll get fed up of this once I begin to maintain.
I really hope you all feel or get to feel the same way.
If we can enjoy food in a good way we're onto a winner!!
I'm not sure why I posted this but it just dawned on me that counting calories both in and out and knowing what I'm eating and how it affects my body is enjoyable!!
I will be my goal weight, I will look and feel good and I will help you too!!

I love taking care of myself in this manner, too.
I feel empowered.
I plan my meals the night before and also do the preparation so that my morning goes smoothly.
I just got back from shopping after work with a bag full of produce that I can't wait to cook up this week.
I find logging all my food enjoyable ... it's like a game to fit in all my healthy meals within my calorie budget.
I don't feel the least bit deprived or bothered that I'm doing this.

i agree 100%
(though i may be driving those around me a lil nuts with how often i tell them how much i am taking pleasure in discovering new tastes (sans added sodium) and in general just FINALLY eating with intention!
No more blindly eating whatever is around for us! woohoo!0
