30 Day Shred and Shin Splints?

So this is my 2nd round of 30DS. I made it 7 days with my first round.
Today was day 3, and I feel the shin splints coming back. I get them anytime I do jumping jacks, running etc.
I have good shoes. I wear Asics for overpronators (my feet roll inwards). I also have some Adias stability shoes.
I've adapted the cardio jumping to jogging in place, but my shins are getting worse.
What am I doing wrong?

I have the same problem! Jumping jacks and jump rope always cause them to flare up. I try not to do those exercises everyday, that lessens the pain and flare ups. I'm going to see a podiatrist next week and they will fit me wtih some shoe inserts, which should help. You may want to go and see a podiatrist or sports doctor. Good luck, Sweebum!0

when your doing high impact moves like that try to really focus on coming down NOT coming down on your heels. Try to stay on the balls of your heels through the movement. Now your calves are really gonna burn but when you build up your calf muscles it will be easier.0
