hubby and i are going to a french restaurant for 5280 week and i am planning on just adding the calories. wanna help me estimate? :)

here's the menu -

First Course
Your choice of:

* Frog Leg A la Provencale in Delicate Tomato Garlic Parsley, White Wine Beurre Blanc
* Escargot Stuffed Mushrooms Bourguignonne
* Frisée Salad with Lardoons Croutons and Poached Eggs in Xeres Vinaigrette

Second Course
Your choice of:

* Cassoulet Duck Confit with Andouille Garlic Sausage over Tomato Bean Casserole Granite
* Shoulder Beef Filet Mignon Au Poivre Cognac Flambéed with Homemade Pomme Fritte
* Lemon Sole Stuffed with Shrimp with Lobster Mousse and Champagne Grape Sauce

Third Course
Your choice of:

* Lola’s Lavender Raspberry Crème Brûlée
* Flourless Chocolate Fondant with Caramel Ice Cream
* Tarte Tatin
* Upside Down Pineapple Turn Over With Mango Sorbet and Pineapple Orange Ginger Coulis

i think i will order the Escargot Stuffed Mushrooms Bourguignonne, Shoulder Beef Filet Mignon Au Poivre Cognac Flambéed with Homemade Pomme Fritte and Lola’s Lavender Raspberry Crème Brûlée.

    First course

    Second Course

    escargot mushrooms, beef shoulder, and tarte tatin

    My theory behind this (since you don't know calories) is that mushrooms stuffed with escargot is less bad than lardons (chunks of bacon) and frog legs are gross. Beef because all of those sound like they're buttery, cheesy, or consist of something fried so... beef sounds yum. And tarte tatin because it's just a cake with some fruit in it.
