How much does 1 inch of height add to weight?

I know it's different for everyone, but on average about how much would 1 inch of height add to your weight? Yahoo answers had no consistent answer.

    I've always been told that each inch was an additional 7 lbs. So if my friend is 5'5 at 160 lbs and I'm 5'11 at 202 lbs we're roughly equal.

    for men its 106 lbs for first 5 feet and6 lbs for every inch after

    for female is 100 lbsfor first 5 feet and 5 lbs for every inch after
    you can also +/- 10% depending on body frame.

    That is for "ideal" weight

    Does that mean if I walk around on my tip toes I'll look 15lbs lighter??? Mint!!! :laugh:

    Yep. Then I think you can go 15% either direction to be healthy....I forget exactly, but I think it's 15%.

    Yes... I forgot to add the percentage!!!! It is 10% +/-

    that is why you can add or subtract 10%
