runninbg out of protein without using calories

I am finding it hard to eat all of my calories but stay under my protein allowance. I find that i run out of protein first and dont reach my calorie fat or carb allowance for a day. I am probably averaging about 300 calories under.

Do others find this and does it really matter. I would prefer to go over with protein than any other area.

    I look at Protein and Fiber as the minimums not the maximum (within reason, obviously) I'm almost always over my protein and under my carbs and fat
