In my mind, I still have the same body I had in high school. Last December, wearing a dress I could pull off 10 years ago, I saw pictures of myself and realized that all the free food I was given in college wasn't free. I'm 6'0" and was somewhere around 202-207 pounds in December (depending on the day), and that was the heaviest I have ever been. I always thought I could just lose the weight and tricked myself into thinking I was keeping track of eating/exercising and that it's completely natural to gain 60+ pounds in less than a year. How wrong I was..
I've been using MFP since December and have already lost 8 pounds (after a very, very slow start). I'm excited to yes, look better, but I also have a history of bad knees and the 8 pounds alone have given my knees much-needed relief.
So here's to a looking and ~*feeling*~ better!
