I lost 2 lbs this week and saturday is my official weight day. I just got on the scale and it says I gained weight. I know I am stupid for weighting myself at night, but I have been eating candies this whole weekend. I figured I might gain weight if I dont watch it......and now I am freaking out;
The thing is I have been I have been craving sugar. I am not a candy eater but I WANT BADLY candies. I was eating oranges to get the sugar but I want candy, Like I said I am not sure why, How do I fix this? Sorry, I am rambling due to the sugar rush.

I used to get sugar cravings bad too. I was able to control the cravings by sucking on low cal hard candies ( like werthers) or chewing gum. But, there are some times when I just need that actual chewing process. Then, I grab a caramel vitatop. They have a lot of fiber and that usually keeps me from grabbing another and....oh, they are so sweet. Like a gooey cupcake!
I think, mostly, its a mental habit you just have to learn to break. I still have my sweet tooth moments but my little plan has helped me get my weigh under control. ( I've lost 49 pounds so far. 14 more to go!)0 -
Today, I HAD to have chocolate... so I went and got one chocolate chip and sucked on it until it melted away, and then I was good. Whoever decided we needed handfuls or bowls or even whole bars of chocolate? I wanted the taste, and I got to enjoy it, and that was that. My uncle said once, "All I ever need is ONE hershey's kiss to fulfill a chocolate craving," and it's always stuck with me. I say, if you want it, go for it - but savor it and above all, moderation is key!0

What is a carmel vitatop (did I spell that right)? I also had a weird couple of days craving sweet stuff. I gave in HOWEVER I write down every little thing, breath mint etc, so I know exactly where I am on caloriies, which seems to help me keep it together.0

I pretty much eat some chocolate every day, but instead of the whole block, it's just one or two pieces. If I have a 50g chocolate bar (my husband keeps buying them for me!), I cut it up into smaller pieces to eat over the week. That way, the craving is satisfied. I cannot live the rest of my life without chocolate - no way! I just decided to work my calories so I can still have some (moderation!!)0
