arm/wrist strengthening exercises

Whilst trying to do my yoga dvd this weekend, I notice I've got absolutely no strength in my arms or wrists when doing certain moves. Has anyone got any useful tips for how I could work on my weedy arms please?

If you don't have equipment, and if they are REALLY weedy, start with doing "push ups" against a wall. Graduate to a countertop, and keep going lower until you can do them on the ground.
You can also do curls and other free-weight types of exercises with canned goods for weights if you don't have any.0 -
@ xraychick77 - thank you, I'll look out my dumbbells and get an exercise schedule sorted out!
@ knittygirl52 - they are really weedy! And I hate push ups so much, but because I hate them and hate being weedy, I'll do it!
Thanks both for the advice0 -
