I watched a programme a week or so ago that stated if you where to drink diet drinks, your body expects more energy because of the artificial sweetners, but because it doesnt get the energy rush (as its low in sugar and cals) you can be more prone to overeating,
I however adore diet coke.0 -
vikki I heard something similar a while back. If you don't drink diet sodas or anything with the aspartame in it, it lowers youre overall cravings for sugary/salty foods. Which I definately found to be true.0

I was drinking a two liter every day back last summer...it started giving me terrible toothaches and so I began my crusade to give it up...it was awful, but I made it through. It was easier for me to first go caffeine free for a couple months, then drop soda out entirely. That way you're not having a caffeine AND a bubbly withdrawal.
Oh man, when I dropped everything out of my diet but water and the occasional coffee or tea, THAT was hard. But oh so worth it once I got used to it.0
